The Nemeth “Standard School” competition javelin is made of strong aluminium and features a stainless steel tip. The special feature of this high-grade javelin is its flight characteristics: when thrown appropriately, it is more likely to land on its tip. This is particularly helpful for beginners. What’s more, it can be used for a wide range of applications: both as a training javelin and, for the World Athletics-certified variants which meet official standards, a competition javelin.

The right variant for every level of performance
In order to suit different performance levels, the Nemeth competition javelin is available in 3 distance ratings with two different weight categories for each (600 g and 800 g). The 600-g variants with a distance rating of up to 60 m are ideal for beginners with little javelin throwing experience whilst the 70-m variant is designed for advanced female athletes and multi-discipline competitions. The 800-g variants with a distance rating of up to 60 m are ideal for male athletes with little javelin throwing experience, and the 70-m variant is designed for advanced male athletes and multi-discipline competitions.
